Providing Insight & direction for At-Risk higher ed Students

Empowering students with dyslexia & other learning differences

How does it work?

Students take the 40 min screening test.

You receive expert-reviewed reports and additional recommendations.

Students can qualify for Bookshare.org or LearningAlly, and take the MIND strengths tests to discover their strengths

Cost effective and efficient

For one remarkably low price you get immediate access to highly accurate information on the likelihood of dyslexia and other learning issues versus months of waiting and thousands of dollars for conventional assessment.

Decrease dropouts, Increase confidence

Identifying the source of student struggles has a remarkably positive impact.

This diagnosis brought a sense of relief because the assessment confirmed that one was not simply ‘stupid’…. Secondly, the diagnosis opened the door to the possibility of building a more realistic view of one’s own strengths and weaknesses, with the possible effect of bolstering self-esteem, increasing confidence, and fostering encouragement to carry on with one’s own studies.

Our MIND Strengths test has given these students hope.

Students were coming to the SLC because of their challenges, and many were walking away with a new awareness of their strengths. One student said that it was not until he completed the MIND Strengths questionnaire that he realized he was gifted.

How Neurolearning Helps

Spend less time guessing and more time developing a solution.

As a Learning Specialist for academically-gifted college students who are diagnosed with or suspect dyslexia, the Neurolearning screener and service have been a foundational component of my work. Both the screener and service have significantly impacted the quality of care I can provide, as the innovative questions and data-driven results facilitate opportunities for client reflection and self-discovery. My clients have shared that the MIND Strengths Survey has been pivotal in their efforts to determine their strengths, make informed changes to improve their efficiency, and understand their dyslexia-based challenges. Highly recommended!

As a learning specialist, I use the Neurolearning Dyslexia screener with many of my students. It is a great tool to help identify a student’s strengths and areas for growth with regards to reading, comprehension, working memory, attention and more. The Neurolearning Dyslexia screener is a valuable tool to help guide students to next steps in their learning journey.

A fabulous tool in hand!
In my professional life, the Neurolearning Dyslexia Screener has been a crucial tool. In order to evaluate skills like letter-sound correspondence, quick automatized naming, working memory, and overall reading comprehension, a combination of exercises and assessments is used. This information is useful for creating individualized intervention plans that address the unique needs of each person. Dr. Eide’s personal analysis of the patterns and reflection on the areas of strengths and weaknesses have always helped in understanding and evaluating the choices related to required intervention. In addition, the comprehensive interventions and tools at the report’s conclusion can be used to locate the correct resources, provide them, and serve as manuals for choosing the best strategies and resources. It also acts as a tool for determining whether our psychologists’ team needs to conduct a thorough evaluation. Overall, these tools have been quite helpful in pointing out areas of weakness and helping to develop goals to address such issues.
