This “empirical” approach to testing the benefits of different tools is precisely the right attitude to take. It’s often impossible to predict who is going to take to what tool before trying it out, so keeping an open mind is important. We’re also rapidly approaching a point where students with even a moderate degree of tech savvy will be able to design some of their own simple tools. it’s an exciting time for dyslexic students!
