The Neurolearning Dyslexia Screener reveals which combination of processing factors is driving each student’s challenges: fifteen distinct patterns, many of which are missed by most screening tools. The NL-DA Certified Professionals Program teaches you the clinical framework to fully understand what those results mean and what to do about them. Together they give you something no other combination of tools currently offers: a complete system for accurately identifying dyslexic students so you can help them effectively.
Participating professionals will receive:
Most dyslexia training programs teach you to treat dyslexic students as if they were all the same. But they’re not.
Our course teaches you how to recognize, understand, and work with the full range of patterns you’ll meet in your dyslexic students.
The Neurolearning – Dyslexic Advantage Certified Professionals Program is built on the framework underlying the Neurolearning Dyslexia Screener and described in the internationally bestselling book, The Dyslexic Advantage. When you complete it, you’ll understand your dyslexic students — and how to help them — at a whole new level.

I found the course content invaluable for understanding the nuances of dyslexia, and it has already provided me with actionable insights to better support the families I work with. Now that I can confidently guide families through the screening process, I am able to provide more meaningful support and recommendations tailored to each child’s unique learning profile.

Having taken many dyslexia and intervention trainings, this “next level” course was exactly what I was searching for as a dyslexia consultant and reading interventionist. More depth, understanding, and explanation of dyslexic thinking patterns and profiles so that intervention and instruction can be targeted and as efficient as possible. For those seeking “more” and wanting to dig deeper, this is the course for you!
This course has been fundamental in helping me to fully comprehend the four fundamental subskills correlated with dyslexic style processing. I am much better trained to set parent expectations, explain processing traits that they might experience with their student, and to create the best individual learning plans for the student. I constantly refer back to both the course and individual Neurolearning student diagnostics as I work with students to achieve their reading goals.

I am thrilled that this program is available. There is such a need for education about how the dyslexic mind operates from the perspective that Drs. Fernette and Brock Eide have been such knowledgeable proponents of. My dear dyslexic students love to hear about the strengths that they have because of how their brains are organized. I went through an elementary education program, a Master’s in Reading and Language Arts program, and a special education endorsement on my teaching certificate, and never had one class or even one lesson about dyslexia made available. With this program, professionals can more effectively understand dyslexia and help their students.
What I found particularly helpful was the information about how memory works in the brains of dyslexics. I had experienced this firsthand with my students, but now I know the “why” of it and can also help my dyslexic students find ways that can help them use their strengths in the memory tasks they have. I was also enlightened to learn about the “default” mode in the operation of thinking and creating for the dyslexic person. It has been encouraging and reassuring to explain this thinking mode to my students and explain that it is one of their strengths.

Who is this certification appropriate for?
Tutors, educational therapists, and learning specialists who work directly with dyslexic students. It is not designed as a basic introduction to dyslexia.
How long does it take to complete?
The course contains over 6 hours of video content across 6 modules. Most professionals complete it in 2–6 weeks. We recommend working through approximately one 15-minute lesson per day.
What is the difference between this and the Neurolearning Dyslexia Screener?
The screener is a tool for identifying dyslexia risk in your students. This certification teaches the clinical framework behind the screener — so you understand what the results mean and how to use them to guide individualized instruction. The screener tells you what you’re looking at. The course teaches you what to do about it. Together they form a complete clinical system.
Is this a diagnostic certification?
No. NL–DA Certified Professionals are not certified to diagnose dyslexia. Diagnosis requires appropriate professional credentials and a comprehensive evaluation.
Are there recurring fees after enrollment?
No. Your certification is a one-time purchase. All benefits — webinar access, forum, website listing, and affiliate program — are included at no additional ongoing cost.
What is the relationship between Neurolearning and Dyslexic Advantage?
The NL-DA name points to the MIND Strengths framework and other concepts developed by the Eide’s in their book The Dyslexic Advantage, and not to the Dyslexic Advantage 501(c)3 nonprofit (dyslexicadvantage.org). Neurolearning SPC is a for profit social purpose corporation that operates this certification program.
Have additional members of your practice who might be interested?
Additional team members can join and receive full access to the training, forum, and webinars for $300 per person. Purchase link can be accessed from within the CPP member’s Hub Page after the program is joined.
